It is organized in an easily understandable manner and allows for a detailed understanding of complex subject matters. It establishes the anatomy, pathophysiology of the disease process, as well as current treatment options. I think that this book is ideal for any provider who sees pulmonary or critical care patients. This includes young providers who are starting their educational journey such as residents, physician assistants, or nurse practitioners, as well as experienced providers who wish to refresh their knowledge. Dr. Hagras has provided an excellent resource through his diligent organization and well thought out approach to the subject matter. My copy is getting well-worn as already I am frequently referring to it, as well as referencing it to it to teach the residents and nurse practitioners. I highly recommend this book.
