This Cardiovascular book is great! It has a simple format explaining everything from examination to treatment and all steps in between. The layout is more an outline than just readable text and has terrific illustrations. This will definitely be a resource for me being an ICU nurse.

I recently purchased MEDIGEST books( cardiovascular medicine and pulmonary/critical care medicine). It is great resource for internists and doctors providing inpatient care to hospitalized patients. It includes in depth information regarding different pathologies, guidelines, clinical images. I found them easy to understand, making complex topics more accessible i highly recommend MEDIGEST books.
