I recently purchased MEDIGEST books( cardiovascular medicine and pulmonary/critical care medicine). It is great resource for internists and doctors providing inpatient care to hospitalized patients. It includes in depth information regarding different pathologies, guidelines, clinical images. I found them easy to understand, making complex topics more accessible i highly recommend MEDIGEST books.

Dr Hagras designed this book for an easy laid out approach in recognizing and treating physiological instabilities in patients.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Dr Hagras and his approach to medicine is very methodical.
Each disease is laid out in a step to step format for in patient / non critical care to critical care with labs and procedures to make referencing easy & quick.
Photos with the disease process associated helps the reader compare their patient diagnosis.
I’m looking forward to the next books in these series from Dr Hagras.

Excellent book! Written in an outline format makes this an easy read. As an ICU nurse, some of the material is over my head, but this book answers some of the “why” physicians make changes to medications and vent settings that I didn’t understand.
